What you will do

• Independently determine project scope and develop plans of investigation for complex or unusual products.
• Conduct on-site product evaluations and electrical tests, frequently traveling to client sites.
• Communicate technical requirements, procedures, and compliance issues to clients and authorities.
• Develop specialized test methods and equipment for products outside existing standard scopes.
• Represent the company at meetings and provide presentations on code and certification topics.
• Resolve complex engineering issues and serve as the project handler of record.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of eight years of directly related experience.
• Expert knowledge of NEC, Building Codes, and conformity standards.
• Ability to travel frequently and proximity to a major airport.
• Strong written, verbal, and client-interfacing communication skills.
• Proficiency in utilizing electrical test equipment and hazard-based engineering concepts.
