Managing Product Owner (GCP Data)

What you will do

• Provide product ownership across the full lifecycle of a complex data product.
• Serve as Scrum Master for data engineering teams delivering a GCP-based data lake or lakehouse.
• Facilitate outcome-focused sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage and refine the backlog with Product Owners, prioritizing valuable and well-defined user stories.
• Remove impediments involving cloud infrastructure, data dependencies, security, and cross-team alignment.
• Coordinate architects, data engineers, DevOps, platform teams, and stakeholders on releases, milestones, risks, and delivery metrics.

Requirements

• Strong experience supporting data engineering, analytics, or cloud platform projects.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably GCP, and data platforms.
• Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks, including scaled Agile environments.
• Experience working with distributed and onshore-offshore teams.
• Experience managing product vision, roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization, and product value.
