What you will do

• Generate, execute, and maintain vehicle-level test plans, verification strategies, and validation reports.
• Perform on-road autonomous vehicle testing as an observer and annotator, including travel of up to 25%.
• Analyze test data, defects, logs, and performance issues; conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective solutions.
• Design instrumentation, data acquisition, analysis infrastructure, and simulation scenarios for remote vehicles.
• Develop and maintain testing and delivery software using C++, scripting languages, Linux, and CI/CD tools.
• Collaborate with product, design, software component, and system engineering teams on metrics, defect reporting, and quality improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years, master’s degree with 3+ years, or doctorate with 1+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience testing and verifying systems that combine hardware and software, preferably in transportation, engineering, safety, or related technology.
• Working knowledge of modern C++, Python, Bash, REST APIs, Linux, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, automation, and configuration management.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex robotic systems across mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and the ability to design actionable test plans for multidisciplinary projects.
• Ability to monitor software, read and type in a moving vehicle for extended periods, remain alert under stress, and communicate technical findings clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with RT3000 (OxTS) inertial/GPS measurement systems.
• Knowledge of EuroNCAP test protocols.
