What you will do

• Design, build, and own scalable data pipelines and ingestion processes using SQL, Python, dbt, and cloud-native tools.
• Architect batch, incremental, and CDC-based ELT/ETL patterns and define transformation logic, business rules, and data quality validations.
• Develop data models using Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, or Lakehouse approaches.
• Design and optimize Snowflake environments, including warehouse sizing, cost governance, storage, schemas, and performance tuning.
• Integrate AWS, Azure, or GCP with Snowflake and lead orchestration through Airflow, dbt Cloud, or similar tools.
• Establish data governance, lineage, access controls, security protocols, and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake performance optimization, cost management, security features, and data architecture.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
• Experience building batch, incremental, and CDC ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault, or Lakehouse approaches.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in a data engineering context.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, or dbt Cloud.
• Exposure to cloud data governance frameworks and security best practices.
• Consultancy or multi-client experience.
