Staff Product Manager (SAP)

Location: Mountain View, California or San Francisco, California, United States

Salary: $172,200–$236,850 USD per year, plus potential annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the SAP product strategy, roadmap, implementation, platform evolution, and finance process transformation.
• Design and deploy agentic AI workflows on top of SAP with engineering and data teams, including orchestration, retrieval, and guardrails.
• Define requirements for SAP data ingestion, semantic and master data modeling, lineage, and governance in the Databricks Lakehouse.
• Manage the product backlog, acceptance criteria, prioritization, release planning, cutover, adoption, and change management.
• Coordinate the SAP ecosystem, including BTP, Integration Suite, and surrounding non-SAP systems.
• Define success metrics and align Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Architecture, Security, engineering, and senior leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management or product ownership experience.
• Experience leading enterprise ERP initiatives at scale, including a major SAP implementation, S/4HANA migration, or module rollout.
• Deep SAP expertise across one or more of Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay, or Order-to-Cash, plus master data governance.
• Hands-on experience or strong technical understanding of agentic automation, LLM orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP data extraction and modeling, data pipelines, semantic layers, authorizations, segregation of duties, SOX, and audit requirements.
• Ability to lead through ambiguity and collaborate with complex business, IT, engineering, and security stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience developing applications or automation layers on Databricks or other modern data platforms alongside SAP.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, AI Core, OData, REST APIs, CDS views, and Datasphere.
• Experience evaluating build-versus-adopt decisions for SAP and Databricks-native solutions.
