Sr. Product Manager - Cost Estimation

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $146,900–$183,600 base compensation annually, plus bonus or variable incentive pay.

What you will do

• Define and own the product roadmap for capital cost estimation solutions, aligning priorities with business objectives and user needs.
• Lead product execution as the primary Solution Manager within a Scaled Agile Framework environment.
• Coordinate with R&D leaders, architects, and Agile Release Trains while managing the product backlog and writing actionable features in Azure DevOps.
• Partner with technical teams to integrate complex calculations and data fabric architectures for high performance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, domain experts, Sales, and stakeholders to create intuitive web experiences and support customer engagements.
• Conduct user discovery and market research using customer feedback, usage data, competitive research, and macroeconomic trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical or business field.
• 5+ years of enterprise software Product Management experience, preferably in engineering, construction, or adjacent software domains.
• Strong understanding of capital cost estimation, cost modeling, or heavy industrial project planning.
• Experience leading product development and using customer feedback, product usage data, and market trends for feature planning.
• Deep expertise in the Scaled Agile Framework and hands-on backlog management in tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to bridge technical engineering teams and business stakeholders.
