Senior Calibration Engineer (C++)

Location: Must be local to one of the position locations: San Jose, CA; Agoura Hills, CA; or Tualatin, OR, United States. Relocation is not provided.

Salary: $161,700–$284,700 base salary per year, plus eligibility for discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Design calibration and diagnostic software architectures and scalable software frameworks.
• Develop calibration algorithms for precision measurement and instrumentation subsystems.
• Drive characterization strategies for new hardware platforms and technologies.
• Analyze measurement datasets to identify trends, limitations, and optimization opportunities.
• Investigate root causes involving complex software and hardware interactions.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, systems, manufacturing, and product engineering teams while providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 8 or more years of relevant engineering experience.
• Expert-level C++ software development skills.
• Strong knowledge of calibration methodologies, instrumentation, measurement science, debugging, and data analysis.
• Experience working directly with hardware development teams and analyzing hardware/software interactions.
• Visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates must already be local to the position location.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor ATE and precision measurement systems experience.
• Experience with high-speed digital instrumentation and FPGA-based measurement systems.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, eye diagrams, and TDR analysis.
• Advanced statistical analysis skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.
