ATE Test Development Engineer

Location: Onsite at the Fort Collins Development Center, USA-Colorado-Fort Collins-4380 Ziegler Road

Annual base salary: $129,400–$207,000 USD, plus discretionary annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Develop test flows, test methods, and validated ATE test programs for ASIC products.
• Create characterization programs and diagnostic screens to identify failing circuits and address test coverage gaps.
• Develop and deploy structural and functional test methodologies for R&D and product objectives.
• Support chip qualification through failure verification, specification searches, and related testing.
• Analyze electrical and thermal root causes, test results, and failure mechanisms.
• Present data-driven reports and collaborate with cross-functional test hardware, design, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, electronic, or computer engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor ATE test development.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest and/or Teradyne tester platforms.
• Ability to independently develop complex test flows supporting chip performance and power specifications.
• Programming experience for test method development and proficiency with data analysis software or languages.
• Experience troubleshooting failure mechanisms, working with test hardware teams, and performing extreme-temperature ASIC testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with SmarTest8 and Advantest ExaScale testers.
