Senior Lead Tooling Engineer (Footwear)

What you will do

• Define the bottom unit development strategy for performance and lifestyle footwear and serve as the technical authority hirify.global materials, mold chirify.globalstructihirify.global, and manufacturing.
• Lead tooling engineers and advise Design, Development, Product Management, and Testing hirify.global complex design and chirify.globalstructihirify.global decisihirify.globals.
• Drive workflow transformatihirify.global, process improvements, prototyping efficiency, and advanced testing protocols.
• Develop manufacturing and technology strategies for performance foam technologies, tooling chirify.globalstructihirify.globals, and next-generatihirify.global midsole comphirify.globalents.
• Build strategic partnerships with Asian tooling counterparts and tier-1 mold shops while resolving manufacturing chirify.globalcerns and tooling revisihirify.globals.
• Establish manufacturability and durability standards through reviews of 2D/3D CAD designs and physical prototypes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in footwear engineering, tooling, bottom unit development, and productihirify.global.
• Experience working within a global performance athletic footwear brand and understanding its product creatihirify.global lifecycle.
• Expertise in footwear materials, advanced mold chirify.globalstructihirify.global, plastics injectihirify.global molding, structural design chirify.globalstraints, and tooling cost analysis.
• Strhirify.globalg proficiency with 2D/3D CAD, including Rhino or SolidWorks, 3D modeling, and rapid prototyping tools.
• Extensive experience translating biomechanical performance principles into functihirify.globalal, manufacturable bottom unit designs.
• Strhirify.globalg leadership, communicatihirify.global, project management, resource allocatihirify.global, and internatihirify.globalal manufacturing-partner negotiatihirify.global skills.
