CFD Engineer (AI Simulation) (CFD/AI): Building high-fidelity computational fluid dynamics models and simulation datasets for engineering and manufacturing with an accent on fluid mechanics, heat transfer, multiphase modelling, and scalable simulation workflows. Focus on developing CAE models, integrating simulations with machine learning tools, and improving meshing, automation, and performance on cloud and HPC infrastructure.

Location: Singapore, with occasional travel across Europe, Asia, and Oceania for customer engagements.

What you will do

• Build CFD models covering geometry cleanup, meshing, simulation, and post-processing for simple to moderately complex cases.
• Adapt parametric CAD models in NX or CATIA and contribute to automation for design optimization and design-of-experiments studies.
• Support customer-facing work by preparing and presenting simulation results alongside senior engineers.
• Generate simulation datasets for machine learning and deep learning models, considering the impact of data sampling on accuracy and cost.
• Run simulations using the Flux cloud platform and on-premise HPC resources while improving meshing and setup performance.
• Share engineering practices, improve documentation, and contribute to collaboration and onboarding within the Simulation Engineering guild.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of industry experience after a Master’s degree or PhD in a commercial, non-research environment.
• Foundation in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and multiphase modelling.
• Working knowledge of at least one of Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or Fluent.
• Ability to set up CFD simulations, interpret results, and develop engineering judgment with support from senior engineers.
• Comfort with built-in automation features and an ability to learn new tools and programming languages quickly.
• Based in Singapore and able to travel occasionally for customer engagements.

Nice to have

• Experience with parametric CAD modelling in NX or CATIA.
• Programming experience in Python or Java.
