Assoc Scientist / Scientist, Flow Cytometry (Shift Work Required)

What you will do

• Perform and document analytical procedures according to SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Analyze routine laboratory data, assess results against acceptable tolerances, and escalate unusual findings or performance errors.
• Prepare data for upload to the LIMS and assist with quality investigations, deviations, and resolutions.
• Prepare buffers and solutions, perform equipment calibration and maintenance, and support laboratory procedure updates.
• Guide entry-level staff, support onboarding, and deliver hands-on training in areas of proven competency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while supporting safety, quality, 6S, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Willingness to work shifts, including Tue–Sat or Sun–Thu schedules and morning, afternoon, or night shifts.
• At least 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Prior knowledge of flow cytometry systems and procedures, relevant laboratory techniques, and applicable standards such as GLP.
• Experience with automation or specialized laboratory equipment, laboratory calculations, quality control metrics, safety procedures, and hazardous chemical handling.
• Good Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
