Salary: 110,000–187,000 USD per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus and long-term incentive plan.

What you will do

• Lead customer technical discovery, architecture reviews, evaluations, and proofs of concept.
• Integrate Memfault into customer Android/AOSP and embedded Linux software and development workflows.
• Work directly with platform and firmware engineers to bring up coredumps, metrics, OTA, and logging.
• Deliver technical pitches, demonstrations, workshops, and architecture guidance in partnership with sales and customer success.
• Share field feedback with product and SDK teams and create reference examples, documentation, and tests.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in embedded software.
• Deep production experience with either Android/AOSP or embedded Linux, with the ability to develop expertise in the other.
• Strong C/C++ skills on embedded targets; Android experience must be at the platform/AOSP level rather than app-only.
• Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, Soong, or Bazel build systems.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate technical requirements into working integrations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Rust and/or Kotlin experience.
• Willingness to contribute across firmware, operating systems, and distributed systems.
