What you will do

• Analyze credit applications and determine risk when extending consumer auto financing.
• Approve or deny credit within established authority and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Build dealer relationships, conduct joint dealer calls, and support monthly volume and credit-quality goals.
• Capture contracts that meet profitability, pricing, and performance criteria.
• Coordinate with internal departments, manage service queues, and ensure required documentation is complete.
• Conduct outbound calls to dealer customers and support effective credit and customer service operations.

Requirements

• Two to three years of underwriting or sales experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of consumer finance, indirect retail auto financing, credit laws, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Credit underwriting, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, sales, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure, multitask, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with motor vehicle retail installment documentation and consumer finance funding processes.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to improve workflows.
• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, bias, ethics, and data protection.
