Debt Recovery Assistant (Fintech)

Location: Norwich, Norfolk, UK; in-person work. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 1:00pm–10:00pm UK time, with weekend work required once every six weekends.

Salary: £26,436 per year plus uncapped commission.

What you will do

• Manage debt recovery cases and monitor collection, recovery, retention, compliance, and data-quality metrics.
• Contact debtors by phone, letter, and email while investigating collection cases.
• Complete vulnerability reviews and agree payment plans where appropriate.
• Resolve disputes, support insolvency documentation, and submit investigations to the nominated recovery body.
• Clean and update records in Salesforce, maintain churn reports, and allocate payments in accounting software.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in debt recovery is required.
• At least one year of experience in credit control is required.
• Proficiency in Excel; confidence with VLOOKUPS is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage an independent workload.
• Availability for in-person work in Norwich and UK working hours is required.
