Senior Network Engineer

What you will do

• Oversee operational delivery for network transport, SD-WAN, and firewall services while enforcing architectural and operational standards.
• Act as Incident Commander during major network incidents and coordinate technical response and service restoration.
• Provide operational status, mission-impact assessments, and situation reports to government leadership.
• Maintain operational playbooks, SOPs, and incident-response procedures for network operations teams.
• Lead problem management, root-cause analysis, remediation tracking, change-risk assessment, and SLA reporting.
• Mentor junior staff in network operations, incident management, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required.
• US citizenship or authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Department of Defense security clearance is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• 5–7+ years of relevant experience.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification and a certification meeting DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II requirements, such as CompTIA Security+.
• Strong understanding of network operations, transport, SD-WAN, firewalls, incident management, and service-level management.

Nice to have

• ITIL v4 Managing Professional, CISSP, CCNP Enterprise or Security, or PCNSE certification.
