What you will do

• Plan and automate application and operating system tasks through an automated batch scheduler to improve efficiency.
• Develop and execute daily, monthly, and annual operating procedures to support production financial systems.
• Perform installation of application software, core database upgrades, patches, and hotfixes.
• Analyze and resolve functional and technical production issues to maintain SLAs and metrics.
• Plan, test, and execute continuity of operations plans for all applicable systems.
• Manage the configuration, optimization, and administration of supported financial systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in systems development, requirements development, or automated financial systems analysis.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical and non-technical information orally and in writing.
• Ability to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance issued by DoS.
• Must be able to work on-site in Charleston, SC.

Nice to have

• Experience working with financial management systems.
• Experience with BMC Control-M.
• Experience with PeopleTools based PeopleSoft HCM.
• Experience working with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
