What you will do
- Lead mechanical engineering activities across NPI projects from concept development through production launch.
- Own mechanical architecture decisions covering performance, manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and cost.
- Develop 3D models and detailed component and assembly designs for thermal management products.
- Apply thermal engineering, heat transfer analysis, and thermal modelling to optimize system performance.
- Coordinate industrialization with internal and external manufacturing teams.
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, systems, and test engineers and support customer installations and commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, product design, thermal, or related engineering.
- Experience leading mechanical design activities on NPI or product development projects.
- Experience developing products from concept through production release.
- Experience in technically demanding or highly regulated industries such as semiconductor, vacuum technology, process equipment, or aerospace.
- Strong GD&T, engineering tolerancing, and 3D CAD skills.
- Willingness to work in the hybrid Bristol arrangement and undertake occasional customer-site travel.
Nice to have
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer, thermal dynamics, and thermal system design.
- Experience with gas-to-gas heat exchangers.
- Experience designing and developing heat exchangers.
