Consultant Relations Director (Healthcare)

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; ideally near a major city in the eastern half of the U.S. Up to 30% travel is required.

Base annual salary: $150,000–$170,000 USD, plus bonus opportunity and equity.

What you will do

• Build relationships with key consultants and senior leaders at benefits consulting organizations.
• Position healthcare products and capabilities to maximize inclusion in employer opportunities, RFIs, and RFPs.
• Collaborate with sales on proposal coordination, opportunity exploration, and discovery.
• Track industry trends, competitor activity, and consultant feedback for internal leadership.
• Represent the organization at national conferences, industry events, and client-consultant meetings.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant employer benefits experience in consultant relations.
• An established network across key consulting firms such as Aon, Mercer, and WTW.
• Exceptional presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts and differentiated approaches clearly.
• Must be located in the United States, ideally near a major city in the eastern half of the country.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
