AI Software Engineer (Generative AI)

Location: Remote within Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, or the United States

What you will do

• Research, design, and build production-grade Generative AI and intelligent automation solutions using LLMs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
• Manage the full development lifecycle, including data preparation, model fine-tuning, evaluation, optimization, containerization, and secure Azure or AWS deployment.
• Implement MLOps and LLMOps pipelines for automated testing, monitoring, and rollback.
• Apply Responsible AI practices and compliance standards such as NIST RMF and FedRAMP.
• Translate business and mission requirements into technical designs and prototype solutions with stakeholders.
• Contribute to research, open-source initiatives, and the AI innovation roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying ML, NLP, or Generative AI systems.
• Expert-level Python and strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, testing, CI/CD, Git, and containers.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases such as Pinecone, FAISS, or Azure AI Search.
• Cloud deployment experience with Azure preferred and AWS accepted, plus familiarity with GitHub Actions, Terraform or Bicep, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Professional English proficiency at B2/C1 level is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI compliance frameworks such as NIST or FedRAMP.
• Contributions to research papers, open-source libraries, or AI communities.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
