TL;DR
HR Generalist, Operations (HR Operations): Supporting recruiting, employee relations, and HR administration for hourly operations teams across Fresno and Brooklyn with an accent on hands-on workforce support, compliance, and employee lifecycle management. Focus on building talent pipelines, coaching managers through complex employee matters, and maintaining effective HR operations across multiple facilities.
Location: Fully onsite at the Fresno, California facility, Monday–Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role also provides remote support to the Brooklyn operations team.
Salary: $70,000–$80,000 per year, plus medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

What you will do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for hourly and operations roles across the Fresno and Brooklyn facilities.
- Develop hiring strategies, maintain talent pipelines, and coordinate interviews, offers, background checks, and onboarding.
- Support employees and managers with employee relations, performance management, investigations, corrective action, and workplace concerns.
- Advise employees on policies, benefits, leave, payroll, and other HR processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and support compliance, accommodations, unemployment claims, and leave administration.
- Partner with facility leaders, staffing agencies, and community organizations to strengthen hiring, engagement, and retention.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of human resources experience, preferably with hourly or operations-based workforces.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of California employment law; experience supporting employees across multiple states, including New York, is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organization, relationship-building, and prioritization skills.
- Experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work fully onsite at the Fresno facility on the stated Monday–Friday schedule.
