Senior Project Manager

What you will do

• Manage high-profile and complex electrical distribution projects, including quotations, purchase orders, pricing, order placement, delivery, billing, and returned goods.
• Coordinate customers, sales teams, and vendors to maintain project schedules, resolve claims, expedite backorders, and address overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
• Review purchase order requirements and terms, identify product substitutions and purchasing advantages, and improve project profitability.
• Provide timely customer communication, price quotations, requotes, proposals, and project updates.
• Coordinate project documentation, including O&M manuals, test reports, submittal packages, and certificates of compliance.
• Deepen customer relationships through account management and occasional onsite visits; provide guidance to entry-level Project Managers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of quotation, project management, or customer service experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in the electrical distribution industry is preferred.
• Strong customer and peer communication, analytical problem-solving, organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work productively in office, warehouse, and potentially hazardous environments and handle loads of up to 50 pounds occasionally.
