TL;DR
Epic Systems Analyst (Sched/Reg): Supporting the design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and ongoing support of Epic applications for healthcare and revenue cycle workflows with an accent on requirements analysis, workflow optimization, system integration, and regulatory compliance. Focus on building reliable Epic configurations, validating HL7 and FHIR integrations, resolving incidents within SLAs, and supporting upgrades and go-live activities.
Location: Remote work is available only from Ohio; the listed work location is Columbus, Ohio 43202.

What you will do
- Gather requirements, map workflows, perform gap analyses, and design Epic application solutions.
- Configure Epic records, workflows, security, rules, and related tools according to approved designs.
- Develop and execute unit, integrated, regression, and user acceptance testing, including defect resolution and test evidence.
- Support interfaces, reporting, data exchange, and integrated workflows across Epic and third-party applications.
- Manage incidents, service requests, releases, upgrades, downtime procedures, and post-go-live support while meeting SLAs.
- Create documentation and support role-based training, curriculum updates, and training environment readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, healthcare administration, or a related field, or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 1–3 years of experience in system or application analysis, support, or related IT work; healthcare experience is preferred.
- Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows, including clinical, revenue cycle, or IT environments.
- Strong requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL, change control, SDLC, system governance, and waterfall or agile methodologies.
- Must work remotely from Ohio.
Nice to have
- Current Epic certification or proficiency in relevant modules such as HB, PB, Cadence, Referrals, Orders, ClinDoc, or Clarity.
- Epic Training Environment Build or Epic Principal Trainer certification.
- Experience with HL7, FHIR, Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, Reporting Workbench, or Radar.
- ITIL Foundation certification, healthcare regulations knowledge, or experience with AWS, Azure, business intelligence, or analytics tools.
