Pre-Approval Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Serve as a liaison between internal and external clients and communicate with borrowers about loan programs, costs, and disclosures.
• Review and audit income, assets, credit documentation, and mortgage files to support loan stability.
• Manage a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203k, jumbo, and reverse mortgage products.
• Structure loans to match borrowers with suitable financial programs and identify missing documentation.
• Pre-underwrite pay stubs, credit reports, W-2s, bank statements, court orders, and other supporting documents.
• Prepare disclosure inputs, deliver disclosure and re-disclosure packages, and set up loans for approval.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of residential mortgage processing experience.
• Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and mortgage and consumer regulations.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
• A mortgage license is required to communicate loan programs and costs with borrowers.

• Experience with Encompass LOS.
• Prior underwriting experience.
