Business Operations Associate (Fintech)

Location: Fully remote; U.S.-based employment indicated by the 401(k) benefit.

Base salary: $65,000–$85,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Perform ad hoc market analyses and identify operational gaps, trends, and growth opportunities.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, operational metrics, reporting workflows, and market-launch processes.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Public Policy, and Finance.
• Prepare biweekly performance reports for marketplace and banking business lines.
• Improve CRM data hygiene, reporting infrastructure, and other operational systems.
• Communicate plans, findings, and recommendations through written updates and presentations.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience in startups, preferably in fintech or B2B platforms.
• High proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and Claude, with strong data-analysis skills.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguity, create structure, and solve operational problems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating and collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, constantly changing market.

Nice to have

• Experience or exposure to marketplace and banking products.
• Knowledge of or interest in the cannabis industry and related policy.
