TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Peoria, Illinois, USA

Salary: $67,600–$84,500 per year

What you will do

  • Develop manufacturing and warehouse routings, procedures, standards, layouts, packaging requirements, and equipment specifications.
  • Select tooling and create programs for automated equipment, including CNC machine tools, using CAD/CAM software.
  • Improve material flow from suppliers through fabrication, assembly, warehouse operations, and shipping.
  • Balance production and warehouse processes, conduct time studies, identify bottlenecks, and optimize manpower requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement countermeasures for safety, quality, delivery, and cost issues.
  • Support capital planning, MRP operations, engineering change notices, ISO documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD and AutoCAD software, as well as common office and project-management applications.
  • Experience with process standards, layout design, assembly tooling and fixtures, line balancing, equipment justification, and assembly worksheets.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, manufacturing processes, and quality-focused process development.
  • Ability to work onsite in Peoria, Illinois, and comply with environmental and safety requirements.
