• Guide technical decisions, establish software development best practices, and act as a subject matter expert.
• Design, build, stabilize, and deliver scalable applications using backend and frontend technologies.
• Contribute to architecture discussions focused on secure, performant, and future-ready systems.
• Improve quality through clean code, testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Support and mentor teammates while collaborating across globally distributed teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 5–10 years of software development experience with strong backend expertise in Java.
• Experience with JavaScript and React.
• Experience building and deploying applications in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, or microservices.
• Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building AI-powered features or data-driven applications.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures or streaming technologies.
• Experience in fintech, capital markets, or other regulated industries.
