WF Optics Product Lead

Location: Wilton, Connecticut, United States; onsite at the Wilton factory

What you will do

• Lead the development and industrialization of complex optics products in the Wilton factory.
• Drive improvements to output, cycle time, yield, and labor-hour targets.
• Create project plans that account for facility, equipment, tooling, resource constraints, and containment solutions.
• Evaluate Make/Buy decisions based on manufacturing capabilities, cost, technology, and time to market.
• Perform product metric estimates, formal risk analyses, and help-request escalations to support timely delivery of quality products.
• Coordinate with production and design engineering teams, the WF Assembly organization, and senior management across Wilton and Veldhoven.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a high-tech production environment.
• At least 2 years of project management experience.
• Experience interfacing with internal or external customers at the technical or task-management level.
• Intermediate-to-advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, customized software, ERP systems, and informational databases.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States Export Administration Regulations before starting work.

Nice to have

• PMP or Lean certification.
