Senior AI Engineer

Location: On-site in Rotterdam, Netherlands, five days a week. Hybrid and remote work are not available.

Salary: €80,000–€140,000 gross per year, depending on seniority and experience.

What you will do

• Build and ship production AI and software systems with measurable commercial impact.
• Develop solutions for dynamic pricing and margin optimization across 14 markets.
• Build agentic procurement workflows for supplier selection, ordering, and quality management.
• Automate customer journeys from product configuration through post-delivery.
• Develop intelligent content, SEO, demand forecasting, and inventory infrastructure.
• Create internal tools that increase the output of teams across the business.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and shipping production AI or software systems used by real users.
• Solid fluency in LLMs, agentic workflows, and modern AI infrastructure.
• Strong commercial judgment and the ability to evaluate business impact before and after implementation.
• Comfort working autonomously with ambiguity, limited process, and no fully specified brief.
• Production engineering experience rather than purely architectural or supervisory experience.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in Rotterdam five days a week with no exceptions.
