What you will do

• Lead and coordinate distribution-center teams and activities for the assigned shift.
• Back up the Operations Supervisor and provide feedback on team-member performance.
• Review staffing assignments and maintain schedules to meet customer demand.
• Identify, document, and help resolve workflow and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, quality guidelines, customer expectations, and cost objectives.
• Report customer service, employee safety, equipment, and facility issues to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Prior Team Lead or Acting Supervisor experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems for daily operations, reporting, and workflow execution.
• Working knowledge of inbound, outbound, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving operations.
• Experience with SOPs, work instructions, shift handoffs, and daily startup meetings.
• Experience operating or overseeing forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds consistently, team-lift up to 250 pounds occasionally, and work overtime when needed.
