Assistant Project Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Support project budgets, scopes of work, client communication, negotiations, and project closeout.
• Prepare detailed estimates from technical specifications, statements of work, drawings, and unit price books.
• Solicit, review, and assemble proposals from vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist superintendents with developing project schedules for customers and subcontractors.
• Support site visits, pre-final inspections, as-built documentation, and project requirement reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ procedures and local requirements, including OSHA and USACE EM385.1.1.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in construction with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Experience preparing fixed-price estimates using RS Means or similar unit price books.
• Negotiation, resource administration, communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is desired but not required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment authorization is verified through E-Verify.
