Data Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and Airflow DAGs.
• Design and optimize Athena tables and queries for performance and cost efficiency.
• Build reusable, testable, and documented data transformations and models in dbt.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform.
• Monitor data quality, integrity, and consistency through validation, testing, and error handling.
• Collaborate with Analytics, BI, and Engineering teams and troubleshoot pipeline issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering and hands-on experience building and maintaining ELT pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Airflow, including workflow orchestration and DAG development.
• Practical experience with dbt for data transformation, testing, and modular data modeling.
• Experience with AWS S3, Athena, data lake architectures, and Terraform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, independence, attention to detail, and effective collaboration.
