Senior Data Engineer (AWS): Designing and maintaining real-time and batch data pipelines and warehouse architecture for direct-to-consumer logistics, inventory management, and manufacturer analytics with an accent on Python, SQL, AWS, Airflow, dbt, and Terraform. Focus on automating operational workflows, improving data availability and latency, and balancing embedded product needs with central data platform standards.
Location: Hybrid setup in the Copenhagen HQ, with 4 days in the office

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines for logistics, inventory management, and operational warehouse processing.
- Develop warehouse architecture supporting direct-to-consumer parcel delivery and manufacturer partner analytics.
- Replace manual operational processes with scalable and automated data solutions.
- Translate operational use cases into robust technical requirements with Product Managers and Tech Leads.
- Connect the Parcels product team with the central Data Platform team while maintaining platform standards.
- Improve data availability, latency, quality, governance, and SLA performance across logistics workflows.
Requirements
- Experience working with operational, inventory, supply-chain, warehouse, logistics, or order-fulfillment data.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with deep knowledge of modern data warehouse internals, preferably AWS Redshift.
- Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools, dbt, and Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
- Experience applying DataOps, GitOps, and CI/CD practices to streaming or batch data applications.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and Docker.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to challenge requirements and simplify complex operational needs.
