What you will do
- Design and validate high-speed interfaces including PCIe Gen4/Gen5, USB 3.x, Ethernet, LPDDR4/LPDDR5, GDDR6/7, and DisplayPort.
- Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis, including eye diagrams, jitter, impedance, return paths, and power delivery network validation.
- Develop and validate LPDDR5 memory architectures, routing constraints, timing, training, and debugging concepts.
- Plan PCB stack-ups, review layouts, optimize routing, and support board bring-up and debugging.
- Investigate signal quality, interoperability, and performance issues through system-level root-cause analysis.
- Conduct electrical compliance validation with oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, VNAs, BERTs, and industry-standard tools while collaborating with hardware, firmware, BIOS, validation, and platform architecture teams.
Requirements
- 7β10 years of engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of high-speed design methodologies and production-quality hardware development processes.
- Experience with signal integrity, power integrity, PCB design, high-speed interfaces, and platform validation.
- Ability to solve complex system-level hardware challenges and perform structured root-cause analysis.
- Experience collaborating across hardware, firmware, BIOS, validation, and platform architecture functions.
