Solution Architect

TL;DR

Solution Architect (Enterprise Architecture): Driving solution architecture for UK&I portfolios and platforms across customer engagement, sales, commerce, finance, CRM, fulfilment, and service domains with an accent on capability-led change, architectural guidance, and governance. Focus on simplifying complex requirements, planning the architecture runway, aligning product and engineering teams, and balancing enterprise standards with commercial and operational priorities.

Location: Hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office. Office bases are Livingston, Leeds, or Osterley. Applicants must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Break down business initiatives into capability-based changes with architecture, product, engineering, and business teams.
• Translate complex commercial and operational requirements into clear architectural guidance and propose simpler delivery approaches.
• Develop capability-led architecture models and documentation for the assigned portfolio.
• Build the architecture runway based on business objectives, technical priorities, and enterprise architecture strategy.
• Contribute to solution architecture governance and participate in enterprise governance forums.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering peers to improve technical excellence and delivery.

• Expertise in solution architecture and capability-based change.
• Experience simplifying complex requirements into actionable architectural guidance.
• Experience aligning solutions with product and engineering teams.
• Experience planning an architecture runway against business and technical objectives.
• Ability to contribute to architecture governance and uphold principles, policies, and standards.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills.
