What you will do
- Lead the Solution Architecture function and oversee the delivery of high-quality, business-focused solution designs.
- Own architecture governance, standards, quality assurance, and the Technical Design Authority.
- Build, develop, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of Solution Architects.
- Align solution designs with Enterprise Architecture roadmaps and strategic technology standards.
- Facilitate architecture governance forums while balancing compliance, usability, cost, risk, and sustainability.
- Manage service performance, SLAs, continuous improvement, technology risks, innovation, product evaluation, and supplier engagement.
Requirements
- Experience leading a Solution Architecture function or practice in a complex technology environment.
- Strong leadership and people management experience, including developing and managing high-performing technical teams.
- Expertise in solution architecture, technology governance, and design authority processes.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to deliver customer-focused outcomes while balancing technical, commercial, risk, and operational considerations.
- Strong understanding of at least one domain: infrastructure, connectivity, integration and middleware, data and analytics, or information security.
