Head of Solution Architecture (SAP): Leading the architecture of SAP and integrated enterprise applications across HR and Finance with an accent on ERP cloud transformation, governance, resilience, and secure business outcomes. Focus on designing scalable solution roadmaps, integrating SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors with enterprise platforms, and balancing strategic capability, delivery pace, cost, compliance, and operational resilience.

Salary: Up to £140,000 per year, depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead solution architecture across SAP and complementary non-SAP platforms supporting HR, Finance, and Corporate Services.
• Define the solution architecture strategy, roadmap, principles, standards, and governance.
• Guide major ERP cloud transformation programmes and reduce architectural complexity and technical debt.
• Partner with Business Architecture, Product, Engineering, Data, Integration, Delivery, and Cyber Security teams.
• Provide architecture assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle, managing risk and regulatory, security, and resilience requirements.
• Identify opportunities to use SAP innovation, cloud capabilities, enterprise data, AI, and automation.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading solution architecture in large, complex enterprise organisations and transformation programmes.
• Proven delivery experience with ERP cloud transformations involving SAP S/4HANA Finance and SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Extensive experience designing and governing integrated SAP and non-SAP enterprise architectures.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba, SAP BTP, SAP Business Data Cloud, and enterprise integration architectures.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data, analytics, AI, payroll integration, data models, data integrity, and data quality.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, commercial judgement, supplier management, communication, and decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating SAP solutions with AWS and modern cloud platforms.
• Experience in enterprise data architecture, data governance, and master data management.
• Knowledge of AI, automation, process mining, and intelligent workflow technologies.
• Experience in media, highly regulated, public-sector, or globally distributed organisations.
• Understanding of agile, product-centric, and DevSecOps delivery models.
