Location: Amsterdam

Salary: €83,000 – €90,000 (incl. 8% holiday allowance)

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, vendor, and reseller contracts end-to-end.
• Own DPA and SLA guidance for customer and partner agreements.
• Handle employment matters, including non-competes, terminations, and contractor agreements.
• Support compliance regarding GDPR, privacy, accessibility, and AI regulation.
• Manage corporate governance tasks such as board resolutions and entity management.
• Develop and optimize legal operations, including SOPs and contract tooling.

Requirements

• 8+ years of legal practice, with a substantial period as in-house generalist counsel.
• Deep expertise in commercial, vendor, and reseller contract work.
• Experience negotiating contracts under unfamiliar legal systems.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to manage business risks.
• Comfort operating independently on questions without established precedent.
• Available 32-40 hours per week with flexibility for global time zones.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Dutch employment law and GDPR.
• Bar qualification (Dutch or other).
