Senior PCB Design Engineer (Nextest, Philippines:Cebu)

What you will do

• Create schematics, logical symbols, PCB footprints, interface board templates, and complete PCB layouts through fabrication file generation.
• Define electrical, physical, and DFM constraints, including controlled-impedance stack-ups, differential pairs, length matching, and timing rules.
• Prepare assembly specifications, manufacturing documentation, cost estimates, and assembly and test packages.
• Manage part numbers, BOMs, and engineering change notices in Teamcenter.
• Review final design data and coordinate with simulation, DFT, DFA, and DFM engineers to resolve design, test-access, assembly, and fabrication issues.
• Participate in product development and launch meetings and travel occasionally for training, meetings, or product validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 7 years of experience in PCB layout and automated test systems.
• Hands-on proficiency with Cadence Allegro PCB Editor, OrCAD Capture, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with Gerber and ODB++ verification tools, such as ViewMate or Valor.
• Strong knowledge of high-speed PCB design, controlled-impedance routing, differential pairs, length matching, timing constraints, stack-up creation, and signal integrity.
• Ability to own layout quality, schedules, and deliverables while working on complex designs with minimal supervision.
