What you will do

• Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, acceptance testing, and handover activities for utility-scale BESS projects.
• Coordinate construction managers, contractors, suppliers, telecommunications teams, control systems teams, customers, and local authorities.
• Oversee testing of project networks, communications, control systems, relay protection, metering, HVAC, fire suppression, and electrical systems.
• Commission and validate battery and inverter subsystems, including electricity market and off-taker qualification testing.
• Manage commissioning schedules and drive projects toward commercial operations and transfer to operations and maintenance.
• Travel extensively across Europe, spending extended periods on site to resolve issues and support project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent technical training.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of battery storage systems, inverters, and low- and medium-voltage switchgear.
• Strong knowledge of VDE, IEC, and IEEE standards and regulations related to battery energy storage.
• Fluent Polish and professional English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, reporting, decision-making, problem-solving, quality-awareness, and stakeholder-management skills, with willingness to work hands-on in the field.
