TL;DR
Logistics Engineer (WMS): Improving and supporting a highly automated distribution centre through logistics concepts, process analysis, operational reporting, and WMS enhancements with an accent on data-driven optimisation, system impact, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on designing practical process improvements, testing functional WMS changes, and aligning operational requirements with IT, supply planning, data management, and commercial stakeholders.
Location: Hybrid role based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Remote work from other countries is not possible. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands; work or residence permits will not be provided.

What you will do
- Create and present management reports, operational reports, and dashboards.
- Perform and interpret data analysis to support logistics decisions.
- Identify, design, and implement process improvements across the distribution centre.
- Develop, test, and implement functional improvements in the WMS.
- Develop logistics concepts that account for operational requirements, feasibility, system impact, risk, and customer impact.
- Contribute to cross-functional and company-wide projects with Operations, IT, Supply Planning, Data Management, HQ, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Higher professional or university-level education, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or business administration.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
- Experience with ERP and WMS systems.
- Excellent MS Excel skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
- Critical, proactive, results-oriented mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Good command of English and the legal right to work in the Netherlands are required.
