Supply Chain Inventory Management Intern

TL;DR

Supply Chain Inventory Management Intern: Supporting inventory planning and S&OE processes within the European supply chain team with an accent on data analysis, reporting, and stock optimization. Focus on improving planning visibility, managing distribution center replenishment, and driving operational process automation.

Location: Must be based in Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid: 2–3 days per week in the office)

What you will do

• Support inbound planning and prioritization to maximize product availability.
• Develop and enhance reporting and dashboard solutions for inventory visibility.
• Assist with stock balancing across European distribution centers and local warehouses.
• Manage Value-Added Services (VAS) to stock processes and exception management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve planning reliability.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Requirements

• Must be currently registered as a student for the entire internship duration.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with data.
• Fluency in English required.
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Non-EU students must be able to provide a signed NUFFIC agreement.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power Apps.
• Knowledge of SAP.
