Consultant / Senior Consultant - Digital & AI

Location: Hybrid in Sydney, Melbourne (preferred), Brisbane, Canberra, or Adelaide, Australia; occasional interstate business travel required.

What you will do

• Manage client relationships and provide technology, digital, and AI advice within broader business strategy engagements.
• Identify business opportunities for generative AI, intelligent automation, analytics, and workflow technologies.
• Document current-state processes and design future-state workflows, operating models, roles, and decision rights.
• Define pilot-ready AI use cases with clear scope, benefits, success measures, risks, assumptions, governance requirements, and guardrails.
• Build and review prototypes, MVPs, and pilot solutions while ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs.
• Contribute to internal playbooks, patterns, practices, experimentation, and AI thought leadership.

Requirements

• 2–7 years of technology or management consulting experience.
• Experience in business transformation, digital transformation, product management, service design, business architecture, or process improvement.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies, with the ability to identify practical business applications.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and translating business needs into technology-enabled solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, report writing, facilitation, storytelling, systems thinking, and analytical skills.
• Human-centred, pragmatic, curious, and outcomes-focused approach, with comfort operating in ambiguous early-stage problem spaces.

Nice to have

• Exposure to data, analytics, AI, automation, or decision-support technologies.
• Experience redesigning business processes, workflows, or operating models.
• Familiarity with copilots, generative AI tools, or agent-based systems.
• Familiarity with security, privacy, and responsible AI considerations.
