What you will do

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from architectural and construction plans using BuildExec.
• Build, update, and maintain estimate templates within the software.
• Prepare comprehensive project estimates for residential construction, including new builds and townhouses.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and trades to obtain, compare, and evaluate pricing quotations.
• Compile labor, material, and subcontractor costs into accurate estimate packages.
• Identify pricing discrepancies and provide progress updates for principal review.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using BuildExec or similar construction estimating software.
• Minimum 2 years of residential construction estimating experience (new builds, knock-down rebuilds, or townhouses).
• Strong understanding of Melbourne residential construction pricing, materials, and trades.
• Excellent numerical accuracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work during Melbourne business hours (AEST).
