Salary: $150–$350 per hour

What you will do
- Guide the strategic vision for impactful healthcare and technology solutions across CMS.
- Advise leadership on CMS centers, programs, and problem areas that align with organizational capabilities.
- Translate CMS policy direction, budgets, rulemaking, and organizational changes into portfolio strategy.
- Lead white papers, RFI responses, and thought leadership focused on agency priorities.
- Build relationships across the CMS ecosystem, including research organizations and associations.
- Advise delivery leadership on client expectations and program stewardship.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in federal healthcare, including senior leadership experience at CMS or an equivalent organization.
- Deep knowledge of CMS programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, quality programs, program integrity, and payment innovation.
- Understanding of how CMS centers and offices establish and execute priorities.
- Experience advising executives and translating policy and operational needs into strategic actions.
- Advanced degree in public health, health policy, economics, public administration, law, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be able to work remotely from an eligible U.S. state or Washington, D.C.
