What you will do

• Lead and grow the engineering organization, managing engineering managers and setting the overall technical direction.
• Define and evolve the platform's technical architecture to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
• Develop and implement an AI/ML strategy for matching, recommendations, and personalization.
• Partner with Product, Data, and Marketing leaders to translate business strategy into a technical roadmap.
• Establish engineering quality standards, leveling frameworks, and iterative delivery processes.
• Oversee technology safety, security, and compliance, specifically for a young user base.

Requirements

• Deep experience in software engineering and senior leadership of multi-team organizations.
• Proven track record of scaling engineering organizations in high-growth environments.
• Expertise in modern cloud-based architectures, DevOps practices, and distributed systems.
• Must be a resident of the United States (50 states and D.C.).
• Experience shipping data-driven or AI-enabled features into production.
• Strong background in technology safety and regulatory compliance.
