What you will do

• Lead and scale multiple multidisciplinary engineering teams building agentic and AI-enabled product experiences.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data Science leaders to define roadmaps and translate AI capabilities into scalable user-facing features.
• Guide the architecture of agent workflows, orchestration logic, APIs, and application integrations.
• Establish engineering standards for reliability, observability, security, testing, and enterprise-scale production delivery.
• Drive execution across complex initiatives while balancing product delivery with long-term technical direction.
• Coach senior engineers, technical leads, and engineering managers while supporting hiring, headcount planning, and onboarding.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of hands-on software development experience.
• At least 5 years of experience managing, scaling, and leading software engineering teams.
• Strong application or platform engineering background with experience scaling systems in a SaaS environment.
• Experience integrating complex AI or ML capabilities into production systems.
• Exceptional technical judgment across system design, APIs, distributed systems, and developer workflows.
• Excellent executive communication skills and the ability to connect technical work with business and product goals.

Nice to have

• Experience managing engineering managers or leading multiple autonomous squads.
• Experience with agentic, LLM-powered, or generative AI products and frameworks such as Mastra or LangChain.
• Background in decisioning engines, rules engines, real-time personalization, marketing technology, or customer engagement platforms.
• Experience scaling distributed engineering teams and collaborating with Data Science and ML teams on model deployment pipelines.
