Salary: $130,140 - $171,960 CAD

What you will do

• Implement game scripting and cinematic scenes using established game engines and animation systems.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of Designers and Animators to cultivate positive team dynamics.
• Provide technical design and narrative scene support.
• Create animation prop rigs and support content creators through quick iteration and prototyping.
• Develop tools and pipelines to improve animation workflows.

Requirements

• Professional experience in game scripting, technical design, or technical art.
• Proficiency in building skeletons, skinning, and rigging in Maya.
• Working knowledge of Python for tool and pipeline development.
• Experience working with real-time game engines and proprietary tools.
• Strong artistic skills and working knowledge of 3D art production.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Toronto studio (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Degree in Technical Animation or Art.
• Knowledge of real-time physics, ragdolls, pre-baked simulation, or shader creation.
• Experience in in-game cinematics capturing and editing.
