Location: Must be located in Ontario or British Columbia, Canada

Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 CAD

What you will do

• Visualize and integrate motion into an immersive world in collaboration with Art Directors and Designers
• Implement and test animation assets in-engine for accuracy
• Mentor other animators on animation techniques and production processes
• Create diverse animation styles, ranging from realistic mocap to stylized hand-keyed motion

Requirements

• 4+ years of game industry experience in character and object animation
• Shipped at least 2 titles as an animator
• Expert knowledge of animation principles and experience with UE4 and UE5
• Proficiency in game animation pipelines and real-time environment constraints
• Must be based in Ontario or British Columbia, Canada

Nice to have

• Experience with motion capture shoot setup and direction
• Expert knowledge of Maya, MotionBuilder, or other 3D packages
• Background in traditional arts, cinematography, or acting
• Experience working with co-development partners
