Senior Software Engineer - Frontend (AI)

Location: Bellevue, Washington; must be located nearby or willing to relocate to be near hirify.global’s technical offices

Salary: $136,500–$225,000 per year, plus eligible 401(k), equity grant, and potential annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead development of customer-facing frontend components and APIs for the Discovery experience.
• Develop and improve search results, browse listings, recommendations, and personalized content serving millions of results.
• Design for scalability, low latency, performance robustness, and cost efficiency in cloud-based infrastructure.
• Use scientific analysis and mathematical modeling to evaluate designs and platform performance.
• Support the 24x7 operation of team services alongside site reliability engineers.
• Partner with product, design, data science, Staff Engineers, Principal Engineers, and other software engineers to establish development, testing, and deployment practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience building full-stack, customer-facing web applications.
• Expertise with Next, React, Node, and TypeScript.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Ability to direct AI coding agents, read code, architect solutions, and debug complex problems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must be located near Bellevue, WA, or willing to relocate there.

Nice to have

• E-commerce experience.
• Experience with Discovery, Search, or Recommendations experiences.
• Experience designing generative UIs for LLM agents.
• Experience developing web applications for native mobile apps.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other public cloud providers.
