Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem to provide next-generation mobility-as-a-service in urban environments.

What you will do

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and FP&A to ensure accuracy in accruals and capitalization.
• Assist the team with annual financial audits and tax filings.
• Continuously assess and improve accounting systems and processes to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a similar field.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls processes.
• Excellent Excel skills and strong interpersonal communication.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Foster City, CA.

Nice to have

• Big four or public company accounting experience.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, or Oracle.
